A graduate of the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, Mr. Jaén is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and is fully bilingual in English and Spanish. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants (PRCPA).
From November 2021 to April 2023, Mr. Jaén was a Forensic Accountant with the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). Before that, Mr. Eduardo Jaén was the manager of the Puerto Rico office of the accounting firm of Quintana, López, Donoghue & González, LLP with offices in Florida, Puerto Rico, and California. Mr. Eduardo Jaén provided forensic accounting services for insurers and their representatives in the property and casualty insurance areas.
Prior to his role as manager of Quintana, López, Donoghue & González, LLP, Mr. Jaén was a supervisor in the Puerto Rico office of Quintana & Lewis LLP operating from October 1996 to November 2003. Before that he was a senior auditor in Puerto Rico office of Matson, Driscoll & Damico CPA’s up to October 1996 when Quintana & Lewis LLP was founded. Since 1988, Mr. Jaén has provided professional accounting services in the forensic accounting industry and specialized in many areas of Property and Marine insurance as well as litigation support services.
